Bon Jovi has opened a  second Soul Kitchen Community Restaurant  in New Jersey,  where guests pay by either making a donation toward other people’s meals or by  volunteering  in the kitchen. The restaurants are  part of Bon Jovi’s campaign to raise awareness about  hunger and homelessness. The idea is that every participates, regard less of income level.  â€œ[Soul Kitchen] just looks like another restaurant,” Bon Jovi told  CBS News. “And you have to understand that those who are in need sometimes don’t have that opportunity to go to a restaurant”.2. The chain’s annual  Drink One For Dane Day on May 12 raised a record-breaking $785,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) to support ALS research. In May 2016,  England international star  Wayne Rooney, Spain’s Juan Mata  and other MUFC players and staff, visited  Kingfisher Community Special School  in Oldham, a primary school for children with learning difficulties. The visitors spent several hours with and gave toys to the delighted children, while  the  MU Foundation  also made a donation to the school.5. The Wells Fargo staff most recently rolled up their sleeves on behalf of the  Habitat For Humanity for Lehigh Valley. This San Francisco  charity’s primary  goal is to build houses for people in need and help them fund their ownership of a home.
